The Medfield Animal Shelter is a non-profit, charitable 501(c)(3) organization Fed ID# 04-3508728. We depend on donations to fund our operating costs
Donations Made in Honor or Memory of a Person or Pet
If your donation is made in honor or memory of a person or pet, we would like to send an acknowledgment to the person or family the donation is made in recognition of. Please send an email to medfieldshelter@gmail.com with the details of who the donation was made in memory/honor of and provide the name and contact information of the person you would like us to notify.
Our Wish List
- Unscented Scoopable cat litter (this is the one item we ALWAYS need)
- Fancy Feast, 9 Lives or Purina canned adult cat food (or any high-end brand since the kitties love variety)
- Paper towels
- Pump hand soap or refills
- Purina Cat Chow Naturals turkey and chicken flavor dry cat food
- Fancy Feast turkey flavor canned kitten food (we can’t use fish flavors for kittens)
- High-quality canned dog food in beef or poultry flavors
- Soft catnip toys
- Bleach
- Liquid dishwashing soap (for hand washing dishes)
- Liquid HE laundry detergent
- Pump hand soap or refills
- Cat carriers
- High-quality dry dog food
- Black oil sunflower seeds (for the bird feeders we have outside the cat rooms to entertain the cats)
- Advantix, Revolution or Frontline for dogs
- Advantage, Revolution or Frontline for cats
- Wood stove pellets (available at Rocky’s Ace Hardware, Home Depot, and Wal-Mart – we use them in the kitten and rabbit litter boxes)
- Gift card to Shaws, Roche Bros, Stop & Shop, Petco, Especially for Pets, Home Depot, or any pet supply store
Amazon Wish List
We have a wish list on Amazon if you would like to donate an item by ordering online. The Amazon Wish List has some of the items we use the most often. Unfortunately, Amazon doesn’t send us donors’ contact information so we are unable to send thank you notes when we receive donations from Amazon.
