The Medfield Animal Shelter is a non-profit, charitable 501(c)(3) organization Fed ID# 04-3508728. We depend on donations to fund our operating costs and are grateful for donations of any size. You can make an online donation using your credit card or Paypal account.

Donations Made in Honor or Memory of a Person or Pet

If your donation is made in honor or memory of a person or pet, we would like to send an acknowledgment to the person or family the donation is made in recognition of. Please send an email to medfieldshelter@gmail.com with the details of who the donation was made in memory/honor of and provide the name and contact information of the person you would like us to notify.

  • Black oil sunflower seeds (for the bird feeders we have outside the cat rooms to entertain the cats)

  • Timothy hay for the bunnies and guinea pigs
  • Oxbow or Sweet Meadow bunny and guinea pig food
  • Wood stove pellets (available at Rocky’s Ace Hardware, Home Depot, and Wal-Mart – we use them in the kitten and rabbit litter boxes)
  • Gift card to Shaws, Roche Bros, Stop & Shop, Petco, Especially for Pets, Home Depot, or any pet supply store

Amazon Wish List

We have a wish list on Amazon.com if you would like to donate an item by ordering online.  The Amazon Wish List has some of the items we use the most often. Unfortunately, Amazon doesn’t send us donors’ contact information so we are unable to send thank you notes when we receive donations from Amazon.
